Uncle Bobby: First Place Masters Division 1999
Uncle Bobby is so excited! In one of those amazing life coincidences, he will be serving as the Grand Marshall of the famous Catalina Crossing race from Newport Beach, CA to Catalina Island, this Saturday, September 8th, on his 70th birthday!
Bobby’s crew actually won this race in 1999, so he has a long history with them. It was no surprise that when I was at his home a few weeks ago for the Puakea Foundation board meeting, he was able to go into the living room and pull out his trophy!
